Deep Creek Lake Communities

Alpine Shores

Alpine Shores is a beautiful lakefront community centrally located for convenience to all the Deep Creek Lake area amenities and a short drive to the ski slopes. It is comprised mainly of larger chalets boasting of lake views and each with at least one boat slip. Picnic areas can be found along the shoreline and the level lakefront provides easy access to the dock area.


Arrowhead Townhomes

Arrowhead Condominiums is located on its own peninsula on Deep Creek Lake and comprised of twenty-six condominium townhomes. It’s situated among tall evergreens providing great seclusion and peaceful walking paths within its common area. Although Arrowhead’s lakefront seems secluded, it is only a short walk to the Arrowhead Market, Uno Pizzeria/Honi-Honi Bar, or the cinema. Each unit has a dedicated boat slip and there’s even a picnic area where one can gaze out over the lake to the State Park beach.

Aspen Woods

Aspen Woods is a newer development consisting of oversized lots and located about a mile from Wisp Resort. The community is a mixture of woods and pasture and provides convenience to Deep Creek Lake amentites while maintaining privacy.

Back Bay

Back Bay is a quiet lake access/front community located in the southern end of Deep Creek Lake. This community consists of great walking paths and seren coves full of wildlife. Boat slips are available.

The Blakeslee Community

The Blakeslee Community has an indoor pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and children’s playground for the whole family to enjoy. The circular neighborhood is great for after dinner walks with your dog or bike rides with the kids! This peaceful community is located towards the southern end of Deep Creek Lake and offers lakefront, lake access, and boat slips.

Boulder Ridge

Boulder Ridge is a premier slopeside community on top of Wisp Resort. This impressive location provides breathtaking views of Deep Creek Lake and is comprised of beautiful and mostly larger detached homes. One can literally step out of their door and into their skis or snowboard and be off gliding down one of Wisp’s many thrilling ski slopes. The convenient location is also within walking distance of the new Pumphouse and ASCI’s Mountaintop Whitewater Course.

Bray Run

Bray Run is a 29 lot subdivision comprised of both lake view and wooded lots near Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County Maryland. Bray Run consists of lots that range in size from .57 acres to 1.23 acres. All lots equally share in a 7.5 acre common area. Bray Run is less than 2 miles to Swallow Falls State Park, 5 miles to Herrington Manor State Park, 6 miles to Downtown Oakland and 6 miles to Wisp Resort. This community offers the relaxing and beautiful environment you have been dreaming about when searching for a lot near Deep Creek Lake. Carmel Cove

Carmel Cove is a very secluded Deep Creek Lake front/access community located on one of the quietest coves on the lake. This is the site of the former monastery of the discalced (barefoot) Carmelite fathers, who chose the site for its beauty and tranquility. Carmel Cove consists of single family homes with lake access and dock slip availability.


Cedarbrook subdivision is located on the southern end of Deep Creek Lake and consists of lake front/access single family detached homes on a quiet country lane. The community has dock slip availability for most homes/lots as well as tennis courts and picnic area. The cove is quiet and the roads provide for easy walking or biking.

Cedar Shores

Cedar Shores is a beautiful lakefront/access log townhome community located in the middle of activity central on Deep Creek Lake. The units are very large and spacious with water and ski slope views. There is the possibility of boat slips available through a seperate agreement. Cedar Shores is within easy walking distance to Smiley’s Fun Zone, The Black Bear Tavern, and Pinelodge Steakhouse.


One of Deep Creek Lake’s newest communities are the Creekside Luxury Townhouses. All units are lakefront, 3 levels and offer 4 bedrooms, 3 are master suites. There are some boat slips available as well. High end construction by Don Nemith Builders, Creekside is centrally located at Deep Creek Lake close to restaurants, movies and Wisp Skip Resort. Fractional ownership may also be available on selected units.

Deep Creek Highlands

Deep Creek Highlands is a gated lake access/mountaintop community in Wisp Resort boasting of some of the best lakeviews in the area. Situated high above Deep Creek Lake, this community is comprised of mostly larger single family homes and some of its amenities include a outdoor swimming pool, lodge, tennis courts, and hiking and biking trails. Some of the properties in DC Highlands also have a dedicated boat slip that can either be walked or driven to.

Deep Creek Village

Deep Creek Village is a townhome community located at the entrance of Wisp Resort. This community consists of mainly 3 bedroom units with partial lakeviews and rear slope views. DCV also has Deep Creek Lake access and there are boat slips available on a rotating lottery basis. There usually isn’t a problem getting a slip for most of the season.

Fantasy Valley

This gated golf course community is very private with a limited number of home sites. Spectacular views of the ski slopes, mountain ranges, valleys and sunsets not to mention you are overlooking the newly designed fairways of the Wisp Resort Golf Course. The combination of golf and skiing in one location is a rare find. This community also offers Lakeside Club membership opportunities, which gives you access to Deep Creek Lake.

Four Hooppole

Four Hooppole is an older lakefront/access community located on the southern end of the lake and is comprised of 7 buildings and a total of 48 townhome units. This quiet community is reknown for it’s spacious common areas, beach, and quiet cove. The southern (sailing) end of Deep Creek Lake offers beautiful sunsets, quiet coves, and generally level lakefront. Four Hoophole also offers dock slip availability.

Gallatin Woods

Gallatin Woods is truly stress free living at Deep Creek Lake. Enjoy home ownership in this unique log home community nestled in the woods along Lake Shore Drive. Phase 1 is already sold out. Phase 2 offers ten specially-designed log home packages accentuating the beautiful 135 acre Gallatin Woods community. Escape to nature among native hemlock, local wildlife and peaceful surroundings with 60 acres of naturally landscaped common area. Hickory Ridge

Hickory Ridge is one of the most serene locations on the lake. This lakefront/access community is located on the southern end of Deep Creek Lake off of Turkey Neck road and provides sweeping views with western exposure, calm water, great sailing, and peace and quiet. There are dock slips and moorings available as well. Level lakefront is also one of the great features of this section of the lake.


The Highline community at Deep Creek Lake is situated on top of the Wisp Resort with some amazing lake and mountain views. Highline has a unique combination of slopside access while parts of the community overlook the newly completed hole #6 of the Lodestone Golf Club. Paved community sidewalks allow you to walk to the ski slopes or the recirculating whitewater course. Enjoy golf course-living on the split fairway, par-4, hole #6. Kendall Camp

Ski-in/Ski-out community perfect for any skier, the options at your front door include advanced, intermediate or beginner terrain. Marsh Run Cove

Marsh Run Cove is a duplex community within walking distance of the Wisp Resort. These large units are well designed and provide ample elbow room throughout. The location of this community is at the northern end of Deep Creek Lake and very close to all the exciting amenities the area has to offer.


Mountainside is truly a centrally located community at Deep Creek Lake. All properties have lake access and a lake front club house. Some properties have dock slips. Overlook Cabins at Wisp Resort

This gated community consists of 13 cabins nestled in a beautifully landscaped private village. Owners also enjoy being part of the Deep Creek Highlands community, which offers many amenities, including outdoor pool, pavilions, trails, playground, tennis courts and observation deck. Fine craftsmanship, attention to detail makes it easy to see the expertise of Colorado based architects Cottle, Carr & Yaw. Owners can choose between 3 floor plans, 3-4 bedrooms offering 2500-3200 sq ft of living space and have Lakeside Park access.

Overlook Mountain Villas

Thousand Acres

Thousand Acres at Deep Creek Lake is one of Maryland’s most outstanding private residential developments. Turkey Neck

The Turkey Neck area of Deep Creek Lake, MD is steeped in sailing tradition. Home to the Deep Creek Yacht Club at Turkey Neck, a typical Saturday and Sunday during the summer is a showcase of colorful spinnakers participating in club sailing races. Two classes of boats currently race on weekends. The Flying Scot, made here in Garrett County, and the single handed Laser. Turkey Neck looks much as it did in the 1960’s. Beautiful “cottages” from that era remain today, many still in the possession of the original owners. A true opportunity to step back into Deep Creek Lake history to a place that has been gently touched by time.

Waterfront Greens

Waterfont Greens is a waterfront community located towards the southern end of Deep Creek Lake. It is made up of beautiful single family homes with lake views and many with boat slips. The swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking cove is a hidden gem. It has a nine-hole par 3 professionally designed golf course well maintained providing good ‘short game’ practice for the seasoned golfer, or a fun day out with friends and family. The tennis courts, mini golf course, and the bass stocked catch and release pond can provide hours of fun without driving through hours of traffic and looking for parking spots. Over 2 miles of paved roads and lake access trails supply walkers, bikers and runners with variety in their workouts. Canoe/kayak racks are available at the Lake Access areas for convenience. The Wisp Resort outdoor adventures center can deliver kayaks or mountain bikes to vacationers to make fun even more accessible.

Yellowstone Village

Yellowstone Village is a log cabin community centrally located at Deep Creek Lake just off Glendale Road. Cabin sizes range from 800 square feet to 2400 square feet. Cabins are sold furnished. Stone fireplaces, enclosed hot tub areas and central air conditioning are just a few of the great features of these cabins. Special care is taken by the builders to blend the cabins into the natural settings. These cabins have an excellent rental history as well.
