Fast and Furriest 1K Walk/5K Run is coming up on June 29, 2019! This is such a fun way to spend a Saturday morning during the summer. Taylor-Made is a proud sponsor, and I love that we are able to support great local events that benefit organizations like HART for Animals.
You can register online before June 25, and the registration fee will be reduced. Plus, you will get a t-shirt and goodie bag!
About Fast and Furriest
Head to HART for Animals at 1265 Bumble Bee Rd., Accident, MD 21520 on Saturday morning. Registration/sign in starts at 7:30. You can do a 1 mile walk or a 5K run. New this year, the race will take place on the Deep Creek Lions Club and Meshach Browning Trails right behind HART. The trails offer great scenery.
Walkers for the 1 mile will follow the Blue/Green trail.
Of course, this is a dog friendly event! You can bring your pup to join in the fun! Be sure to bring a leash (no non-retractable leashes) and vaccinations must be up to date.
About HART for Animals
HART offers a variety of services to help the animals of Western Maryland. They work to save the lives of adoptable animals rescue and transport, rehabilitation, and adoption. By offering low cost spaying and neutering, they also help to reduce overpopulation. They have a spacious adoption center and help to match pets with their forever home too.
